My Inspirations:

My inspirations in the media industry are social media specialists and sports journalism within media because platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok have tone of fan pages of a specific personality or sports. In my case I was inspired by football fan pages on Instagram to make my own account dedicated about a football club that I support, now I do this as a hobby and also getting prepared for the real world of working as a football journalist. This pages on Instagram have thousands of followers because they give a ton of information and news about the club from news outlets and pretty much people trust them of the information they put on Instagram. On YouTube, there is plenty good and educational channels that share their views about a particular subject in football like transfers, match previews and recaps; the channel that does all of these things goes by the name 'RabonaTV', he is very knowledgeable and I like his views when it comes to match recaps, transfers etc and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good educational channel about football in general. 

Research about Social Media Specialist & Sports Journalist:

Social Media Specialist are responsible for creating and publishing content on all social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok to grow an audience and build brand awareness. Social Media Specialist may also interact with their own audience through comments, everyone will voice their opinions, support and feedback, also a Specialist can monitor site metrics, respond to comments and oversee creative design. My inspirations do not work for any company as they do this as a hobby so they just post updates about the club, match-days, news etc.

Sports Journalism is where journalist cover any sports events and write articles about a match, transfers and injury updates. Sports journalism can also be in broadcast reports, where they tell you about sports on live TV. 

How did they get where they are today?:

One of the reasons that my inspirations have a huge following on their platforms is because they talk about the most popular team in the specific country and because of that, they get a tone of followers, likes and comments because of the huge fan base of the club. Also they get recommended by other accounts of the same subject to which the other account tells their audience to follow that account by mentioning them on social media stories or tag them on posts, that's one of the reasons why they have such a huge following because of others recommending their own audience to follow that account. Same goes with sports journalist who have a name for themselves on social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram etc have build a huge following due to their knowledge of the sport that intrigues audiences to continue watching their videos.

What are the reasons do you have for wanting to potentially go into the same media employment areas?:

The reasons why I want to join the same media employment is because I'm interested to become a sports journalist and I like the writing articles aspect of it. Like I said before, I have my own Instagram account dedicated about a football club that I support and I'm succeeding at it and I think I have potential to succeed in the industry. Also, I want to show my skills to the industry that I'm capable of what I do and be committed of what I do etc. BBC comes to mind when I think of wanting to work for them as a sports journalist as they are one of the most popular channel organisation in the UK and their articles are probably the most read on the internet.
